How to complain about a bookmaker licensed in Tasmania
Complaints follow the licence: if your bookmaker is licensed in Tasmania, the pathway runs from the operator to the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission. If it is licensed elsewhere — most online brands are Northern Territory licensees — use that jurisdiction's pathway instead. The pathway, step by step
Complain to the bookmaker first
Raise the dispute with the bookmaker in writing through its published complaints channel (usually a support email or complaints form in its terms). Keep copies of everything: dates, bet or transaction IDs, screenshots and the operator's responses. Give the operator a reasonable chance to resolve it — but note any regulator time limit before you wait.
Escalate to the TLGC
If the bookmaker does not resolve it, lodge a complaint with the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission. Include your account name, the operator and brand, what happened and when, the amount in dispute, copies of your correspondence with the operator, and the outcome you are seeking.
Watch the time limits

Racing-rule matters — protests, disqualifications, race results, stewards' decisions — are handled by the racing integrity body or stewards for the relevant code in Tasmania, not the wagering regulator.
